One of the main pioneers of this medical area is Professor Dr. Bruce M. Carlson, author of over ten books on embryology and regeneration back. During his 40-year career he conducted innovative research in the laboratory that included collaborations with scientists from the Soviet Union, the former Czechoslovakia, the Netherlands, Finland and New Zealand. But it was William A. Haseltine who coined the term Regenerative Medicine about 15 years ago. Haseltine founded in 1992 the company Human Genome Sciences the first company in the world that genomic medicine used for the purpose of designing based on non-toxic and non-allergenic human genes that would replace conventional drugs medicines.
